Afuckinmenbrother!!!!!!!!!! Denver crowds are noisy period! There are some floksters there I know that show proper respect for whats being done. But by and large people seem not to appreciate the music as much when they get it on a regular basis and take it for granted. I would kill to get the amount of Steve you guys get up there. Thanks Corey for getting this up, and Steve for letting him set up! Oh and BTW nice pull Corey. Also the 2nd of the new tunes rocks!
Waiting for some Kwaves in AZ!

Thanks for getting this awesome recording up so fast Corey! I agree with everyone else, and wish the crowd would STFU for Kimock. The onstage mics made all the difference in the world, and lost all of the chatter. Thanks again for getting this up so fast.

Thank you Taper Corey for this lightning-quick upload of a phenomenal recording. The stage mics make all the difference - people get to hear that Kimock and his cohorts aren't just some background music at a chatty bar. This is definitely foreground music, presented front & center the way it's meant to be!
Nice new material, especially the 2nd new song. Kimock absolutely rages on Red Hot Mama.

Thank you for putting this up so fast Corey, you rock! After the show last night my buddy and I were talking about how great it would be if none of that ridiculously loud chatter was going on. I was praying that the stage mic set up would do the trick, and oh man did it ever. Thanks buddy, see you tonight!
After the amount of crowd chatter last night, I didn't think there was even a chance of getting salvageable recordings. I couldn't hear half of what was played. Despite the brilliance of what was happening onstage, this scene has been completely taken over by loud mouthed little idiots who couldn't care less about music. The crowd was disgusting. I don't think I've ever said that about a Kimock crowd. Aside from a very small amount of real family, it was all "new family" which actually isn't family at all. They all talk constantly. If I was squeezed against the stage, 3 ft from Bernie and 5 from Steve, I could almost drown out the crowd, provided the band was playing loud. The second they dropped volume and went pretty, or even if Steve would go super dirty, but not real loud, the place became the noisiest sports bar in the world. I don't know if it's gone, never to return, or gone and maybe one day it will come back, but it's impossible to be transported, lifted out of reality by that pure Kimock bliss, if the whole crowd is talking. It's a group thing, we feed off the band, the band feeds off us, everyone gets lifted. It cant happen if you can't hear. I feel like I've lost my religion. This scene was always safe from the douche-baggery of other scenes because: the music was so much better and the fans were so committed to the magic of it. We've always had the coolest, most respectful, quiet fans. It could be kids in their teens to 70 year old hippies, hipsters, professionals, pushers, and none of that mattered even a little because we were all there for the same thing, all of us hanging on every note, together. Now its like being on some dirty lot, with someone off in the distance playing Kimock through their car stereo.
What I could make out of last night was incredible. I'm really excited about the onstage mic and being able to go back and hear what really happened. I haven't kept recordings from the last 6 or so shows here in Denver because crowd chatter had ruined them. With Corey set up at the back of the house, the mics picked up every bit of chatter. From the little bits I've heard so far this morning, it looks like it worked. Actually, this recording is incredible, especially considering the circumstances. Corey, you rule! Thanks for saving the show! For everyone that wasn't there, you'll see my comments and think I'm nuts. Don't be fooled by the recordings. Corey pulled off a miracle. Corey, I'm guessing you must have used some sort of mic shield to block the crowd? Whatever you did, it worked. Thank you!

always the quickest with Kimock recordings (with an almost equal effort by Rob Clarke in NY) CO tapers rock!
and congrats for getting your mics onstage. They sound good in the room and even better onstage.
